Brie and Apple Pizza
Granny Smith Apple sliced thin
5 oz Brie sliced with rind removed
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
Preheat oven to 425
Place dough on pizza stone and flatten, drizzle olive oil over dough.
Sprinkle half of the Mozzarella on the dough, layer on Apple slices and Brie
Add remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in oven for 20~25 minutes until golden brown.
4 cups flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 envelope instant dry yeast
2 tsp. kosher salt
1.5 cups warm water
2 tbl. olive oil
extra olive oil
Combine the flour, sugar, yeast and kosher salt in the bowl of a stand mixer and combine. While the mixer is running, add the water and 2 tablespoons of the oil and beat until the dough forms into a ball. Scrape the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead into a smooth, firm ball.
Grease a large bowl with the olive oil, add the dough, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in a warm area to let it double in size, about 1 hour. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 equal pieces. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel, let them rest for 15 minutes.
